I flew over to Dublin with Cherry-pie to visit Smurf. In theory his mum had given him enough money to
evenly split the cost of the trip. In theory the world produces enough food to feed itself :-)

Cherry-pie standing in O'Connell street, the main drag of Dublin. We had an interesting bus-top tour of the city,
where the conductor showed us the important sights, like the "Tart with the cart", the "Floozy in
the Jacuzi", and the Guinness brewery. I hear that you can't buy Jack Daniels in the county where it is made
in Tennessee, because prohibition is still in force there. This is not the case with Guinness and Dublin. |

A fire-breathing punk streetkid of Smurf's acquaintance. This could be a dangerous way to make a living, especially
if you swallow some of your tools of the trade accidentally (which it seems he did). |

The sometimes gorgeous, often frustrating, always interesting Smurf! A man of alternative pasts, mysterious present
and questionable future. I need a ration of a few days a year of Smurf-induced angst, but I don't know if I could
manage 365 of them ;-) |
